Amd Phenom ii x4 965 quad core processor

Specs: Windows 7, AMD Phenom II 965 4-Core/ 8 Gigs Ram
I have a
AMD Phenom(tm) IIx4 965 processor ~3.4ghz (Stock fan)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560TI
8GB of RAM
GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-S2P

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i already installed DirectX 11
-My computer can handle the older games..(ie: Saints Row The Third, Skyrim, Assassins Creed III)
-Recently I downloaded games like Saints Row IV,Splinter Cell Blacklist, and occasionally my computer would crash when a game begins to have a lot of action (Bioshock Infinite)
-I'm aware that when i play Saints Row IV and Splinter Cell, both increase my CPU usage to about 70% without movement, and sometimes goes to 100% during heavy action moments. At that point, the CPU fan is extremely loud, and the computer would crash soon after.
I believe my CPU SHOULD be able to handle these games..i really want help because i want to play GTA 5, but im afraid that it would cause the same issues as the current games!
It sounds like the processor is overheating and shutting off, I think you probably will need to upgrade the cooling system in your computer.
Is all of the dust clear of the vents and is the heatsink mounted properly?
I've tried cleaning out all the dust in my computer, and the heat sink was stock and installed correctly...maybe i just need to find a better heatsink :(
"maybe i just need to find a better heatsink"
No, stock ones work just fine, even for mild-moderate overclocking. Please post your CPU temps, at idle & under load.
I used Core Temp and for all 4 cores i got 0 degrees, regardless if i started up saints row, or if i did nothing... this was the same for and CPUthermometer.
Try using HWMonitor instead.
Post temps in Celsius.
All temps may matter so post all, but you should be getting a temp reading for all cores under CPU. If no temps for them, you might have a problem with your CPU sensor or motherboard. Those more familiar with AMD will comment more specific on those you post.
You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
