Mouse hardware problems

Specs: Windows Vista
I have a USB/ PS/2 mouse and it was working fine in one usb port then it stopped working. I then tried all the other ports and they didn't work either! I've tried updating the driver and it says it's full updated!

A USB/PS/2 mouse? Which is it? USB and PS/2 are not the same.

Sounds like maybe it's a USB if you've tried other ports. Could be a bad mouse. Try the mouse on another computer. Also, your USB ports could be bad on the computer, or they are overloaded if you have a lot of USB devices plugged in.

MOOOOooove! OH and you're welcome!
