motherboard wont power up! PSU powers other m

Specs: Windows xp
everything worked fine, but when i came back it was powered off. Switched it on again and left again. %min later came back and it was dead agian! And did want to power up. Psu powers up other motherboards. if briding psu pins fan comes alive ext.

What do i do?

When u switch on the system u can hear fans spinning but no picture right? Ya psu is bad replace it.

i tried my other PSU which runs my server, but it still does not work. Stripped it to the basics aswell.

If by "Stripped it to the basics as well." you mean you have disconnected all drives PCI cards etc and left only known good PSU, Motherboard, CPU with heatsnk/fan, 1 stick ram, graphics and keyboard, and you still get absolutely no response when trying to power up, the only other test would be to remove all ram and see if you get any POST beep error code when trying to power up. If you get absolutely no activity in this barebones configuration then you are likely to have either a motherboard or CPU failure. If you have another compatible motherboard then swap out the CPU and see if it will power up in such other motherboard.
