Is it possible that a motherboard with DDR3-SDRAM socket, will work with DDR2-SDRAM's?
NO, unless the mboard has two different types of ram slots for both types. Asus M4a785td-v evo can only use DDR3 ram

Its not the Asus M4a785td-v evo i was asking about(couldn't change the product), was gonna buy a mboard with DDR3-sdram.
DDR2 & DDR3 are NOT interchangeable. The may both have 240-pins but the notch in the contact edge is in a different location, plus they run at different voltages.
There was a Gigabyte board a year or two ago where you could use DDR2 RAM in certain slots or DDr3 RAM in other slots, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend such a board.
