Solved motherboard and graphics card compatability

Specs: Windows 10, amd phenom ll x2 555 3.20ghz
i have a gigabyte ga-ma770-ud3 motherboard and iam wanting to know if a ddr5 pci-express card would work with it

You weren't specific about the card make/model, but graphics card memory has nothing to do with system memory. Look for a card with GDDR5 rather than DDR5...the G is for Graphics. PCIE cards & slots are backwards compatilble, so a PCIE x16 3.0 card will work in a PCIE x16 2.0 slot, but it can only achieve the bandwidth/throughput of the 2.0 slot. However, there's generally little or no noticeable difference. Make sure your PSU can handle the power requirements of the card.
