Pc will turn on but the monitor won't display anything I've checked all the wiring and everything. And still won't display
Hi Going, a)
please clarify what you mean by 'Turn On'.e.g does the Monitor have an ON indicator and that is not lighting.
Or it is lighting, but no display appears on the Monitor.b)
a process of elimination can identify where the failure lies:-i) try the Monitor on another pc.
ii) try a known good Monitor on your pc.c)
does the pc have more than one Monitor port and maybe you are connecting to the wrong oneGood Luck - Keep us posted.

If you never ever see anything on the monitor then it is likely to be faulty itself or possibly its cables/connections. If it displays anything at all, even briefly, then you need to tell us what it displays because it could be either a computer hardware or software fault.
As Mike says, check the monitor on another computer, or someone else's monitor on your computer.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Likely you hear fans and drives spinning up and see LEDs flashing and assume the computer is working but that's not necessarily so. A computer can experience many problems that leave fans, drives and LEDs working. Do you hear any beeps when you start it up? If swapping and testing monitors doesn't help then the problem is inside the computer. Did you make any changes to the computer or did anything happen to it between the last time it worked OK and the first time it didn't?
--Yes but it's a dry heat.
