Specs: Windows 7
I found a HDMI cable, decided to hook it up on my PC.So I got the cable and plugged it in on my NVIDIA graphics adapter and nothing happened,I kept pressing change source on my TV(Samsung series 4)and still nothing changes,so I went and unplugged the HDMI cable then the monitor went blank(lights just blinking on and off). Then I proceeded to switch to the onboard graphics adaptor everything is ok.

Have you installed the latest driver available for your graphics card?
Also, try and use Nvidia Control Panel and go through the settings.

Can't you connect the TV to the nvidia graphics card with a standard VGA cable same as you use for the on-board graphics adapter?

You may need to set the HDMI input in the TV settings to match the HDMI port you are using on the TV.
