Make and model of computer would be useful here...

Can you test the monitor by connecting it to another working computer.

Can you change the monitor cable and thus test the monitor cable by substitution?

Everything's a guess without knowing the system specs.

If it's a newly installed card, did you change the BIOS settings to transfer the display from the onboard graphics to the card? If the card had been working, what's changed?

You didn't post the system specs & didn't answer my questions.

"It doesn’t show the bios on screen"

Switch the monitor cable back to the onboard graphics port, then enter then BIOS & change the settings.

You need to change the Video settings in BIOS from 'Onboard' to 'PCIe' or 'PCIe if present'.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Presuming this is a newly installed card..., and echoing comments of riider above... connect the monitor to the original, onboard, display port. Does the screen show a display then?

Have you placed the HMDI cable between the graphics card & the monitor?(this is what you should be doing)

Or did you you stick it in between the motherboard & the monitor?

If you did the 2nd option you'r system would detect a dedicated GPU& auto-turn off the integrated GPU(inside most cpu's) but your monitor is expecting video output from your motherboard (CPU's integrated GPU). which was turned off because there is a dedicated GPU present(Nvidia GTX 1050)

edit: both trvlr & riider mentioned this already

What about answering the other questions and supplying details on your system, what you have tried already, what results if any (good or bad).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

What is not clear from your information thus far... have you tried connecting the monitor to both the onboard (motherboard) outlet, and the new add in card?

Also have you, or can you, test the monitor on another working computer? And can you test your two possible outlets with another known working monitor?

And have you tested with other cables?
