Monitor not recognizing graphics card

Dell Alienware area-51 desktop

Specs: Windows XP
Hey everyone,
I recently got some hardware (an older single
core alienware. Woot)
Anyways I've taken it apart and put it back
together once before and it's worked fine.
However, I just pulled out the graphics card
and the core to do a little cleaning and now the
monitor doesn't seem to detect anything.
The graphics card is an ATI radeon 1950x pro
(like i said a little dated)
I've gone over and Im pretty sure everything is
hooked up but maybe theres something im
overlooking, any advice or suggestions would
be greatly appreciated
Thanks guys

do you get a "beep" code form your computer?

i think you left something loose when you put back everything together. pull out the video card and the ram and then install them back in, making sure they are well seated.

if that doesn't work then troubleshoot for RAM problems.

i doubt its the monitor, try it on a different pc. Make sure the video cable is secured on the monitor end tho, sometimes they come loose. Make sure if your video card takes a power plug that its plugged in. Also like above, check to make sure everything is seated properly.
