Monitor Flickering and i dont know why

Specs: Ubuntustudio12.04, 3.2gz/8gb
Hi for several sessions recently my monitor goes over to flickering. It is also a TV and i am plugged in via the hdmi port. When i reboot everything is cool again. I am not doing anything unusual or the same for this to occur. The monitor/TV is hooked up to my linux box and i just reinstalled ubuntustudio. First session with the new install nothing and the second session today it happened again. This video shows more http://s273.photobucket.com/user/ra... . The name of the monitor is Electroview EV19 . I forgot the name of the video card or the app that would tell me what all the hardware is that is installed.

msconfig32 (Start\run and type that in an then press Enter/return to run it) will generate a complete report of what's instaled.

Belarc Advisor (freebie download) will do similar.

Device Manager in windows\system folder will usually list all devices too.

And

http://www.computerhope.com/issues/...

details the various ways to view it depending on which version of windows you are running.

Make sure you have it configured correctly - use the native resolution & correct refresh rate setting (probably 60Hz).
