Mobo graphics failure?

Specs: Windows 7 Home, Athelon II X3 / 4GB
I think the onboard video on my motherboard failed. First I was running a graphics intense game to check out its capabilities, then the screen went black, when it came back the screen had a red hue to it. Restarted PC, same thing, reinstalled and updated drivers, no change. Its not the monitor, I checked it with a functioning computer, as well as checked the settings, the monitor is fine. This is a new PC, just built it, it has no graphics card, just onboard mobo video. Does this sound like a video failure or is there something I may be missing?

The board is under warranty, right? Hopefully you've gone to the Asus site & registered it already. If not, register it ASAP. Do you have a decent power supply?

Yeah, brand new from Newegg, just arrived two days ago. Yes the power supply is good, OCZ 600W. Do those sound like symptoms of a onboard graphics failure? would there be another way of diagnosing if it is?
