Mini ITX Motherboard in Dell Dimension 2300?

Specs: Windows 7 from Windows XP Home Basic, Pentinium 4 1GB RAM
Is it possible for me to put a mini itx motherboard in a Dell Dimension 2300 that is designed for a micro atx?


I take that back it is not a Dell Dimension 2300 it is a Dell Dim 2400...lol

I think, the wholes for the screwst won't fit.
Here is a link, where all motherboard formats are listed.
Click at the picture at the upper right and see the difference in size of the mainboards.

It should fit as they are apparently screw compatible.

P4 & 1GB RAM? You should have stayed with XP.

It'll work, but there are some extremely cool ITX cases out there. For example: http://www.anandtech.com/show/5867/...

ITX builds are great fun. Why put one in a boring Dell case from 2003? Take advantage of the situation man! :)
