Specs: Windows Vista
When starting my computer a statement shows up that my internal battery is low and may need to be replaced. What is this? And where do I get a new one?
Thanks

That would be your CMOS battery. The battery is different for different laptops, but if you have a desktop it is most likely a CR2032 watch battery.

The make and model of your laptop is the appropriate response here. Then I can google "BIOS BATTERY + "Your Laptop"" and get the answer for you.

U must be ready to tear down your laptop to be able to replace the CMOS battery. The tear down video of your laptop can be found on you tube.

Or take the laptop to a computer repair shop to have the battery installed.

When you enter the BIOS (setup) on start up is the date and time correct. That is an indication the CMOS battery is good or bad.
