Specs: Windows Vista
Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite L455-S5975 and I
recently deleted everything in my laptop and
when I restarted it, it kept on showing:

PXE-E61: Media Test Failure, check cable

also some other stuff at the top. This kept on
repeating itself and I couldn't start my
computer at all! I checked through other
forums looking for solutions and I tried what
they said, going into the bios and resetting it.
But it didn't work. So is there any way to fix
this problem? :(

Your Laptop is trying to boot from a non-existing Netwrok. It will try to do this because it cannot find anything else to boot from.

Go into the BIOS and disable the Network Boot and put your CD at the top of the boot list and reinstall the Operating System.

If you "recently deleted everything" in your laptop, how do you expect to boot up?

As StuartS stated, your system is trying to boot off a "non-existing Network", so either you actually did delete everything & there's nothing left on the HDD to boot off of, or you messed with the boot order settings in the BIOS.
