Is this a small usb flash device or is it a large external drive?

If small you might find someone to solder on a new end just to get data off.

If large you may be able to swap cables.

Try Recuva if it is not physically damaged.

From your post it seems you believe the usb connector is bad or some other part.

A very good to maybe even a novice solderer may be able to take two usb parts or even add in wires to fix it. I have fixed maybe 10's of thousands of parts or wires in my life. It helps to know how it is supposed to be and then go from there.

No amount of software will fix a damaged connector. If you are sure the connector or other parts are OK then you may have to go to something like teskdisk, photorec or recurva or easuse and many others. Some are from the big flash makers.

the only thing which is the problem there is the wire (usb connector) from the device to the usb port.. i think you bought the broken one. It's my idea..I used my Canon DigiCam and tried the wire. It doesn't recognized the device and i tried to the other PC and still doesn't work. I made help to someone in Cafe. He detached the SD card from my cam and used his Card Reader and it did work.
