Specs: Windows
hi, Im looking to make a custom gaming computer that I can later upgrade. These are 2 main components:
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Superclo...

http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-34...

I need to know what other items would work well with this. It is a budget computer so i would like it to be $500-$750.

I would like a 1TB hard drive, 8gb of RAM (2x 4gb), and optical CD/DVD drive.

Thanks!

U can get a cheaper v-card and OC or get another cheap z77 board.

I sometimes like to also look at tigerdirect for their barebones specials. If you don't need to carry this to other places you can skimp on the case.

Thanks! I found a $99 dollar motherboard, and a $50 case. but i was wondering, If i was to upgrade to i7 or a better v-card or more RAM (etc...) once i have more money, would i have to get a new power supply? should i get a higher like a 750w or 700w?

thanks!

Just buy the 630W Rosewill recommended by kuwese. You don't need a 700-750W PSU, even if you eventually upgrade the CPU or video card.

even if you eventually upgrade the CPU or video card.
Yes riider is 100% correct.
As manufacture process decrease(45nm to 32nm) also the power usage of a component decrease = less heat generated = more OC room.
