Made D partition primary for ACER 240

Specs: Windows XP, 0.98

Could you please help me with some advice? My Acer 240 is running with ams WINDOWS xp 2002. As I was running out of space on my C partition but I had plenty of space on my D partition, I enabled D as primary partition via right click.
Now, when I turn on the lapton, I can't access Windows and I get a black screen with the message "invalid system disk. Replace the disk and then press any key".
I've tried to reboot the system using the backup CDs but it does not work. Any help much appreciated. Kind Regards, xxxM

Do NOT reinstall Windows! Just change it back to the way it was. All you needed to do was start using the D: partition for storage.

You probably have a ton of crap in the My Documents folder? When you get Windows working again, simply right click on the My Documents icon, click Properties, click Move, then put in the the D: partition. You should also install a cleaner such as CCleaner-Slim & use it regularly. And uninstall any programs or games that you no longer use.
