Solved Looking to Upgrade HP Pavilion G6 laptop Video card & CPU

Specs: Windows 8, AMD A6 / 4 gigs
I have an HP Pavilion G6 laptop with an AMD Vision A6-4400 dual core processor with 4 GB of RAM and an AMD Raedon HD 7520 G graphics card

I would like to upgrade the graphics card and processor but I'm not sure what I can upgrade it to because I know to upgrade I might have to replace the motherboard and power supply to something different. What can I do so that I hopefully don't have to change the motherboard and power supply.

The graphics are built into the AMD A6-4400 APU. There is no graphics "card" to upgrade. And being that it's a laptop, you can't upgrade the motherboard or power supply either. If your laptop isn't good enough for your needs, buy a better one.

You're bound to the MB for all intents and purposes, unless you're the George Barris of laptops. But it looks like you do have options. Check out this page:

where you will see a beefier cpu that uses the same socket and draws the same power. Do your homework, because your motherboard's life is at stake. Ebay has the cpu at $129.
