Looking to know more about Win 95 Joysticks that play in Dos

Specs: Windows XP
I am looking to buy a joystick for win 95 that plays in Dos it looks like I am going to have a problem with this old system its just them old dos games have got it any action game going let me know mite be able to trade.
As to the problem with playing in Dos microsoft mite have a driver needed for playing in dos as they updated a lot of Win 95 files before updating the system.
your have to use the old phone up connection vo.
If not write to them direct.
Let me know how you get on as I have not bought the Win 95 joystick yet, and not yet have the problem

You'll probably need a joystick that connects to the gameport rather than USB. And you don't necessarily need drivers, it depends on what you get. You may be able to load generic drivers from the gaming options list. Have you ever set one up before?

Joysticks are usually attached to the Game Port, or occasionally an add-in card the game software was responsible for configuring the Joystick not MS-DOS:

Where are you from? If you're not from the US, why are you "looking at a joystick now from a lady in america"? Does it have to be a joystick or will a gamepad work for you? The Microsoft SideWinder would be an excellent choice. I bought 3 of them several years ago from geeks.com for $5 each. I'm sure you can find them on eBay. Here's what it looks like:
