Looking for Windows 10 Driver for Microsoft Natural Keyboard

September 25, 2017 at 14:31:41
Specs: Windows 10
Hello,

Tried to post a reply to the following question but got a message that the question is too old. Maybe an admin can attach my response? https://www.computing.net/answers/h...

>>>

Had the same issue with a Microsoft Natural MultiMedia Keyboard 1.0A > followed the advice from OtheHill and can confirm that it works >

- running Windows 10 Pro N 64-bit

- downloaded IntelliPoint 7.1 (Wiki says no more support for PS/2 keyboard in version 8.0 and above)
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/dow... (64bit)
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/dow... (32bit)

- ran the installer with Compatibility mode (Windows 7) and selected keyboard from list. Keyboard recognized on PS/2 port in software

- works like on older Windows including special keys, no problems so far

Thanks

I don't know why you couldn't post it but I've copied onto there fine. I'm not an admin just a regular helper.

Thanks for your input.

The link for 64 bit is for an IntelliPoint mouse driver. How does a mouse driver help with keyboard issues?

My problem is that the PrtScn/SysRq/Insert key registers as Insert when I try to use hotkeys for ShareX. I've modified my ShareX hotkeys, but I would like the key to be processed as designed.

This post is a misplaced input to an old post originally raised in March 2017

You would be better raising a new post of your own as your issue appears to be about something quite different. Reposting it would also put it at the top of the list for helpers to find.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
