Contact the manufacturer and be prepared to prove ownership or ask the previous owner.

BIOS passwords on laptops are a security measure to combat the ease and frequency that lap tops are stolen. There is no simple way of circumventing it and each manufactures has there own specific way of doing it.

You can try using that argument to the manufacturer but if bought from a legitimate site I suggest you contact the seller for help with passwords.

Most likely you bought them as is, no warranty, correct?

If the laptops are complete there may also be hard drive passwords installed, which is the same issue again.

You have to know the password to get into a locked BIOS. We are not allowed to suggest hacks on this forum.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

No, I realise that but the old tricks such as removing CMOS batteries don't usually work these days. As I said we cannot help on hacking into the BIOS (and I meant by any method) but you never know what Google might find.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Could it be an Asus X401A-RHCLN35 rather than "a Asus X 401 -RHClN35"? Do you have the manual?
