My Lexmark Pro900 printer only works sometimes. I thought this was a problem with the wifi connection so I installed a USB Cable, but it still does the same thing. I can clear the print spooler and print one or two documents, but on the third the documents show up in the print queue and disappear (like they are printing) but nothing comes out.
When this happens does the paper feed through as if it is printing or does nothing whatsoever happen? Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Nothing happens at all. The printer is completely quiet.
What you originally described is very unusual. Does this only fail on exactly every third document or is it just intermittent? If it is just every now and then it makes me think that the printer itself is faulty. Whatever, unplug and re-plug it's connections in case one is playing up. You could also try another USB socket. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

It is very sporadic. i have been very unhappy with this printer, but I don't really want to buy a new one just to test it. I guess I could take the printer in and have it checked, but the fee for servicing the printer would probably be more than a new printer. Thanks
