Did you attempt to run a nozzle test, which should be an option in the software? Nozzle test will show you if there is any attempt for ink to pass through the color ports.

Second question may sound stupid, but are you sure you have ALL settings set to color. Printing a test page should display all colors if working.

Soaking the print head may not be enough. You may need to use tubing and a syringe to run solution through each port, one by one. The solution you should use is dependent on the type of ink Lexmark uses. I just dealt with a similar issue with an Epson printer and all the sites that have information on my unit suggested a weak solution of warm water and Ammonia (10/20 to 1). With the syringe you can pull the solution backward from the soak pan to the syringe. You should take care to filter the ammonia and water or better yet, use distilled water.

Your printer may have a print head that isn't designed to last the life of the printer. Does the print head simply slick into place, or is there more to it?

There are lots of article and utube videos on this subject.

Check Print Properties or Printing Preferences to make sure that you do not have the 'Print Black Only' checked off. You can see this in Devices and Printers and a document specific one in the properties or printing preferences after selecting Print before OKing the print so check both.
In the same place under Devices and Printers you can find the Print Test Page which is generated within the printer so is Windows software independent so you can see if it is within the printer better, and more likely the print heads.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
