Usually when a computer will only boot into safe mode this is a result of a bad driver or update.

On the safemode menu, there should be a

"Boot to last Known Good Configuration".

Do that and see if it corrects the problem other wise, try going in and uninstalling the last Windows Update.

I'm having the same problem. When I attempt to start the computer in normal mode the XP loading screen comes up, the bar goes across for a second and then a blue error screen comes up. When I try to "Boot to last Known Good Configuration" nothing happens. I still have the same problem. While in safe mode when I try to reboot the computer an error screen comes up saying that, that function has been turned off for safe mode or it cannot be done in safe mode, and only can be done in normal mode.

Can you please help me?
