|A little while ago, my Acer Aspire's power cord became a little frayed and the only way it would charge is if I held it a certain way and made sure it didn't move. Soon I replaced the charger, but then I noticed that my laptop had a different issue: even while the charger was plugged in, the laptop would beep as if the power cord was just being plugged in or out, over and over again, even though the chord was still plugged in. |
Next I replaced the battery, but the laptop continued doing the beeping thing and now it won't charge at all and I can't get it to turn on. I have no idea what's wrong with it. I guess it's possible that the cord I have is not compatible with my computer, though the cord did work fine for a little and the website I bought it off of assured me it was, but I'm not sure how to tell if the cord is indeed compatible. Or the issue could be something else entirely. Any help is very much appreciated.
