laptop wireless cards

I am looking for a couple wireless cards for laptops. I'm not sure but I think there called mini pci ?

Are they laptop specific? I have one laptop a toshiba tecra 8200 that has a spot for a wireless card and a dell inspiron 4100 that also has a spot for a wireless card.

I was browsing ebay and figured it would be easier If I could get two cards of the same make for both laptops and I would only need to download one driver that would work with both. Thus simplifying the process and maybe get a better deal buying two instead of one.

Any recommendations?

Thanks
Chad

reason one both of the laptops have internal slots for wireless cards so why not use them?
and the other is I'd rather not have a usb wifi sticking out the usb port to get knocked off.

I'm just picky I guess.
I did manage to find a mini pci wireless G card on eBay for $12 that stated dell supported it plus many others except HP/Compaq and IBM. I contacted the seller and asked about the Toshiba and he said it would support it also so I took the $24 plunge and bought both. Seemed cheap enough worth a shot. I do have a couple USB wifi but one's being used in a tiny dell PC that has no pci slots and the others in my daughters desktop. I do have a PCMCIA card too but I've already about broke it off by accident bumping it on my lap.

The laptop I use has built in wifi and it works very well so I figured I'd go for convenience.
