Laptop restore issue

October 16, 2010 at 08:56:51
Specs: Windows Vista home 64, 2 GHz AMD Turion X2 RM-70 Dual-Core Mobile Processor/4gb
I replaced a hard drive in a HP Pavilion dv7-1132nr....the restore disks i made off the original drive didnt work so i got the ones directly from hp. Now i can get through all 3 disks but when it goes to install software i get an eror message.
ChkErrBB.CMD : Detect Some Error during PINIST_BBV.
ChkErrBB.CMD : CHECK C:Ysystem.savYlogsYBurnBootWarn.log

the Y's are actually a Y with a line thru it ....some kind of symbol.
Does anyone have any experience with this? thanks for any help.
