If you got a restore disk with it, try using that. If the restore partition is on the hard drive, you may be outa luck. If you can't get into safe mode, your hard drive may have fried. When you enter the bios at startup, check to see if the hard drive is recognized.

Let it sit for a while, it may have overheated. When's the last time you blew out the cooling vents?
