Laptop hard drive will not detect

Specs: Windows 7
I have a 320GB SATA laptop hard drive. My laptop dropped on the floor and now the hard drive is not working, I changed the hard drive and I was wondering if I can fix this hard drive. I bought a hard drive enclosure and my laptop would not detect the hard drive, it does say that there is something when I connect but when I go to My Computer, I cannot see the hard drive there, I tried testing on my PS3 but it says no hard drive was detect. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I dont think its dead because I can hear it running, it just wont detect at all..

Likely the heads or possibly platters themselves have been damaged. You'd still hear it spinning if that were the case. It'd likely cost more to repair the drive than to purchase a new one.

As T-R-A said it's really not cost effective to have a HDD repaired. Hard Drives are delicate things and often dropping a 2.5" Laptop Drive will more often than not cause internal damage.
