Specs: Windows 7
After removing usb thumb drive from a digital frame, can no longer access drive on my laptop. Laptop recognizes drive is there as hardware (in bottom right tray), but can't see it through windows explorer. Thumb drive works fine on my desktop.

Same OS on each?

Did you try to add a drive letter to it?

Could it have been formatted in exfat by windows 7. The frame should not have messed with it.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

The drive got re-mapped by the digital frame to F: which showed up on my laptop (while at home) on WindowsExplorer as a disconnected network drive (from my office). Had I tried to click on this "disconnected", I would have accessed the thumb drive. Once I reassigned the thumb drive to an otherwise unassigned drive letter (D:) it worked fine.

BTW, I have a 64-bit Windows 7 and the thumb drive is EXFAT formatted.
