I have tested the key board 2 types usb and standard
that I know work with other machines. ? what should I do
?/

Does the PS2 (Standard) keyboard port ever work, like after you boot? Chances are it was turned off in you BIOS settings.

Yes some BIOS will not recognize USB keyboards because they have to have drivers for the keyboard installed but a PS2 keyboard should work.

If the PS2 port was turned off then you will either need to reset you BIOS with a jumper on the mother board or find a software app that will allow you to reset the BIOS settings through Windows. If there is one (most BIOS do not have such apps) then it will be on ASUS's web site.
