a) Did you buy the correct keyboard for this laptop and is it *NEW*?
b) Does it have the same part number as the one it is replacing?
You advise the original fault is that some keys do not type, therefore I would expect the new keyboard to:-
i) either work correctly or
ii) have the same keys NOT typing as before, proving the fault is not the kb.
However you advise the kb does not work on your laptop, suggesting:-
i) either (a) and/or (b) above have NO answers
ii) the kb is faulty
iii) you did not fit the new kb correctly.
