|You may have an outdated PC or you have too much stuff running in the backup. If you have windows xp, goto start, then run, then type MSCONFIG, hit enter. If you have vista or 7, click start and type MSCONFIG in the text box at the bottom and hit enter. Click on the services tab, click hide all microsoft services at the bottom, and then uncheck all the ones that remain once all the microsoft services are hidden. Then click on the startup and click disable all, click apply and ok. Restart your PC. See if that helps. |
If it does then go back into MSCONFIG again and turn on your antivirus if you have one. and reboot again and see if the performance is decreased. If it is try uninstalling that antivirus and switch to another one.
