keep getting message to replace ink cartridges that are new

August 30, 2020 at 11:00:20
Specs: Windows 10
I have just replaced a magenta ink cartridge on an Epsom wf 2530 printer and I cannot print due to message indicating all cartridges are empty. I replaced the black on Friday and the printer itself, when prompted, shows all four cartridges have their total volume or considerable volume of their total still left.
I have tried twice taking all out, switching off for 20 mins or so and then replacing them to no avail.
Any ideas please?

Are they genuine Epson cartridges?

Where did you buy the cartridges? Did you see any other messages when you first installed the Magenta cartridge? BTW, the brand is Epson. Are you positive you have all the cartridges in the proper slots? Go to setup and select to install cartridges. Open the top of the printer and verify the cartridges are all fully seated in the correct order and the lock is fully depressed. Close the top of the printer. You should see a message that all your cartridges are installed correctly. If you don't see that, post back what you do see.

It may be due to the cartridge's chip, not making direct contact with the printer sensors. It would help if you reinstalled the cartridge and ensure it is properly seated, and the chip is lined up with the printer censor.
