Issues with textures popping in.

Specs: Windows 7, i7-2600 3.4GHz/8 GB
I have a geforce 9800 gtx+ graphics card and am able to play most games at the highest or near highest quality but I have noticed that I seem to have issues with open world games such as fallout 3 or assassin's creed brotherhood in which I can still get the highest graphics settings (including max level of distance) but certain objects and texture will not pop in until I get close to them. Any help? (note: my pc isn't overclocked if that helps at all)

I think that isn't a system fault. Most of PC games comes from consoles(xbox 360, ps3), most of developers don't know how to port them into PC correct, so far the worst port i have played is bulletstorm. Did u try Crysis (crysis is a open world game made for PC)?

I played 2 but then again that's not really open world. I'll try it and see.

I followed it perfectly fine, it wasn't especially complex. Not saying it was a bad story or anything, to me it just served its purpose of driving the action along and not much else.
