i have a emachines model et1331g
the video card an intergrated and is just not as good as i would like is there a slot for me to upgrade to a better video card

Your Walmart special has one PCIe x16 slot for a graphics card but only a 300W power supply. If you're going to add a card, you should seriously consider upgrading the power supply at the same time. You're probably looking at about $100 IF you buy the parts online.
