Nope. In fact, you don't need any version of RAID to run Win7. If you're asking which versions of RAID Win7 supports:

No. Windows 7 works on single hard drive systems and on multiple drives with and without Raid.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

RAID 0 is usually more trouble than it is worth. The relatively small performance gain usually does not offset the potential problems. Unless you have a specific need and understand the implications RAID 0 should be avoided.
