Is my mother board blown or is it my cpu

Specs: Windows 7, 4gb ddr3 1333 (2*2)
how do i know if my processor or mother board blown ........i was overclocking my amd athlon x2 255 on an msi Gf615M-P33 mother board.The system crashed ah couple of times but i got it stable after droping the Ghz on the processor.I turned it off then back on and it says no video output.theres no beeps no lights to the keyboard,but the cpu fan is spinning and the power light is on.

Unplug the power cord, then use the clear CMOS jumper to reset the BIOS.

I already reset the BIOS and same problem. I checked the CPU on my friends system and it works,so most likely it should be the mother board thats bad............ i will be returning it soon....thanks anyway................ : )
