Solved Is my Graphics Card Dead? No output, fan maxes out.

Asus motherboard / P8 z77-v lx2

Specs: Win 7 home 64 bit, Intel i5 3570
My motherboard was fried by a lightening strike a few weeks back and I have just built a new system to replace it (my first self build).

I put my old graphics card into the new machine to see if it was damaged. On power on the card fan appears to run at full speed and I'm getting no output from the card (monitor shows a "no input" message).

While I realise this is probably a bit of a stupid question, I just want to be sure before I bin the card...

Is it banjaxed?
