Be more especific about the model of the computer brand including its specs and the operating system.

But this website will provide you with the especicifications of your hdd.

Immediately remove your email address from our initial post. "Never" post an valid/active email in "any" open forum. Doing so leaves you wide open to SPAM, Spoofing and who knows what other nuisances...

If it's already formatted as ntfs then Apple can usually read it (via usb of course). If it it's attached (usb) and detected by Apple and then reformatted to Apple's EFS then it ought to be OK. Access the drive over a network and the Iomega's file format is abstracted - i.e. it doesn't matter...

To date I've yet to find a hard drive that Apple (Mac OSX) cannot handle - either as ntfs (read only - unless over network); or formatted to EFS - extended file system (read/write).
