Solved Is dead pixel correction software dangerous?

August 8, 2012 at 04:43:22
Specs: Windows XP
My laptop has one dead pixel.
I know that there is software out there, like UDPixel, that claims to be able to revive dead pixels.
Assuming that I run such software, which flashes solid images rapidly, for some hours, is there any danger to it? Can it make things worse, as in generating more buggy pixels?

Thanks!

It shouldn't cause any problems at all, you would be surprised how much flashing is going on during regular video. There is a video on Youtube for reviving pixels, not sure how effective it is tho. More likely to fix "stuck" pixels probably.
