Solved Internet randomly shuts down

July 6, 2012 at 16:39:36
Specs: Windows XP
I had to reinstall windows xp because my computer was acting really strange. After doing so, I installed the drivers necessary to access the internet, and now, every time I try and open it, it gets to MSN and then it says that there's been a problem(offering to send a report or not) and closes it. What did I do wrong?

I apologize for not replying sooner. I ended up just uninstalling all drivers, and then re-installing them which ended up working out perfectly fine. Sorry for wasting your time guys, but appreciate the help either way.

Is there an error code?

If so then type it down on to the site.

I am a hardware guy not a software guy but i try to help.

All it says is "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." It offers to show the details of the error report.

The internet opens, loads, then freezes, the error pops up, and after clicking on the 'send' or 'do not send' button, it closes.
