interfacing Roland DXY-1100 plotter with windows XP

Specs: Windows XP
I have windows xp on one of my computers which I have installed a Roland plotter driver that they say will work with windows XP. When I try to print a test page it just goes to the print que instead of the plotter. It seems as tho it is having a data transfer problem.

Might depend on who 'they' are that told you it would work. If the drivers weren't designed for XP you may need to play around with the settings to get them to work.

Other than that, did you install the driver correctly? Are the plotter and cable known to be good. Is the port configured correctly (if applicable)? Is any additional software required? If you have more than one printing device maybe you need to select the plotter before you can use it.

Yeah, she actually posted 3 times; the last one being a complaint about not yet getting additional help. It was removed.
