insystem wireless mouse is working backwards

June 4, 2016 at 01:05:04
Specs: Windows 7
Today my Insystem wireless mouse decided to work backward. The pointer and scroll are working in the opposite direction to the movement of the device.
I have removed the dongle, taken the battery out uninstalled the driver yet all has failed to remedy the problem.
Does anyone have solution?

Try the mouse on another PC. If it works inverted there, it can be concluded that the mouse needs to be replaced. If it works fine, drop by a text, I'll tell you what needs to be done furthur. Though I think your mouse is actually damaged.

Hi Elaine and Jay,, please do not communicate by texts.

The purpose of these forums is that they are open, such that all can see and learn as required.

Thanks - Mike.

Good Luck - Keep us posted.

Most mouse problems turn out to be the mouse itself.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Re #2
By 'text' I mean text, here.
Does it means PM in your place?

PM is still of no help to future posters with similar problems. We prefer to post all help directly in the forums.

No no no no I did NEVER mean PM, I meant, "text", as a reply in this question.
Why are people misunderstanding me? Do I need to improve my english skills?

Hi Jay, saying:-

'drop by a text'

suggests either sending a PM or a TEXT/TXT by Mobile/Cell Phone.

It would be correct to simply say:

'Please advise' - in your post, you are asking for a reply only if it works

or better:-

'Please advise either way' - here you asking for a reply if it works or not.

Regards - Mike

Wowee, I think we just have a little misunderstanding that's all. One way to avoid confusion it in future would be to say "let us know" rather than "drop by a text".

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
