Specs: Windows Vista
Hello, I am running vista ultimate 32bit operating system on my PC. I have recently bought a home silk screen business (very exciting!). With all my stuff was a HP8000N office laserjet printer its about 10 years old I guess. It didn't have any disk so I have downloaded the driver from the HP site. I have tried for 2 days to hook it up but I am no computer genius.. but.. I did have a computer wizz here today but even he didn't quite get it happening, but he thinks we are very close, he just ran out of time as he had to be somewhere. He put in an extra ethernet port in my computer so I can have one to my internet satellite modem and one for my printer. My system says the printer is now my default printer but it wont print at all. I have printing pending but nothing happening so can someone help me through this from the beginning step by step. (I will send you a great tee shirt :-)
Thanks I hope someone can help.

If you can’t find the right Printer drivers manually on hp site easy, you can try this site:
http://www.hp-drivers.org/
There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it.
And you can also keep asking on:
