Solved Installed SpyHunter which disabled startup

December 24, 2011 at 23:18:39
Specs: Windows 7, i7 950 / 6 GB
I'm using a custom built PC running Windows 7 x64

I ran Spy Hunter 4 and it prompted me to restart my PC to remove the ad ware (all really low threat levels, just tracking cookies and such) It also prompted me to disable 5 start-up items which were unnecessary.

I have the P6X58D-E and it now says NO Virtual Disk!

So, when my PC rebooted I received the following message:

Linux error for bootstrap.

I don't have a CD -rom drive.

Please Help

What about a physical disk? Where is that? Look the BIOS. Reset it to defaults.

The Disk is SSD and it loads as IDE, i have set it to default setting in the bios. When i accidently disabled my start up items it disabled my SSD. I can see the drive in my harddrives but i dont know how to change the settings back

A Linux error has nothing to do with startup items in Windows. The same goes for the No Virtual Disk error. We're missing a piece of the story.

What was on the HD when you first built the PC & when did you add Linux?

I ended up formating the harddrive. I believe that there is a marvell controller for the SSD that Spy Hunter removed. Thank you.
