Installed new card

Dell / Inspiron 530

Specs: Vista Home Basic
The integrated graphics card for my Dell Inspiron 530 isn't working so can't see anything on monitor. I have a PCI slot though so tried attaching a Matrox Millenium graphics card to it.

After doing this I see an image on monitor (just a black screen with Dell logo) and it does not load any further. It says in the corner to press F12 to boot but my keyboard is USB powered and none of the buttons work at this stage. The computer has no PS/2 socket either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated on how to install the drivers for the graphics card when I cannot see a screen or how I can boot without a keyboard working as I do not have a clue.

It's got nothing to do with drivers. Since you can't boot beyond the F12 screen, you have another problem that's not related to windows or drivers. And if your system has no PS/2, the USB keyboard *should* work. The fact that it doesn't indicates a hardware problem but at this point, I can't make any suggestions as to what it may be. More info is needed.
