Solved increase ram speed of laptop

Intel Pentium4 - 2.66ghz processor

how can i overcome this problem and improve the speed of my laptop

Ram speed contribute very little perfomance gain. U need atleast 512 MB of ram to be able to run XP smooth(i recommend 1 GB) 384 MB isn't enough. Also getting rid of IGP will increase perfomance.
Post the board model number or system model number.

I agree with kuwese. RAM speed isn't the problem, the RAM amount is the problem. 384MB isn't nearly enough to run XP decently.

I third that. Go to and use the online memory tool to see how much the laptop will take and what kind.
