Increase laptop video memory from 64 to 512MB

Specs: Windows 7 *64
i am using Satellite a505-s6005 with built in Graphics card Intel HD Graphics (Core i3) currently i am running on dedicated memory 64 how to make it 512 ?

You don't have a card in a laptop. A card is plugged into an available expansion slot on the motherboard. Your graphics is on the chip like you said. You can look in you bios to see if the amount of ram dedicated to your video is adjustable. Some newer model laptops have that option, but the ram you add to the video will deduct from the amount of ram available to other applications. If you want to do this for gaming, your efforts will produce minimal effects. You'll never get 512. Laptops were never designed for games etc. Some of the newer models are designed for gaming, but they're very expensive.

look for video memory option in bios.
Grasshopper is right, better stick to old games.

The graphics memory is "dynamically shared". It takes what it needs as it needs it.
