Specs: Windows 7, Ubuntu 12.04, Wireless Lan Realtek
Firstly I installed Win 7 ( long time ago ).
Then Ubuntu 12.04 ( long - ( long/ 2 ) time ago ) . :)
Then installed wireless driver for ubuntu using device manager and .inf file.
Now I wonder " if i install a driver on windows 7 does ubuntu recognize it? ".
Cause I can't use wireless connection. I don't see any "Wireless" menu on "System Settings>Network". Could you please help?
Thanks to everybody in advance.
Wish you GooD MooD.

No.

You have to install a driver for Ubunto and a completely different driver for Widows 7.

Each one is designed to be used with the relevant Operating System and there is no communication between the two.

You need a driver specifically designed for Ubunto.

Not being familiar with Ubunto you would be better asking the question on the Linux forum.
